What is the real reason the Fed Government Wants to Put the Internet Under the FCC?

Citizen journalists unite NOW while you still can! I believe the biggest reason the Federal Government wants to control the Internet under FCC is due to something no one is talking about. The unspoken would make us ask, at that point, what will it require to build and broadcast a website over the internet and what kind of regulations about owning a web site will apply? I believe they want it for reasons of revenue sure, but mostly for CONTROL. It seems like the natural progression would be to become like TV or radio where as to have a broadcasting license and get access to airwaves will be prohibitive in cost and licensing bureaucracy. The FCC may exercise control over content in the same manner it exercises control in other media under its wings. In this case owning a website could be considered internet broadcasting. We might eventually see the same six corporations that own the news also own the sites available on the internet. The government, coercive groups and the media all HATE citizen journalism and the free sharing of ideas and information  because it is becoming the biggest tool in exposing all manners of fraud and corruption in the government, political and ideological organizations and in the media and broadcasting industries. We have enjoyed using the internet to exercise free speech. How long would that last under the FCC? I think it is a question worth asking.
