My faith is good - I actually don't care if I survive a nightmare scenario or not. I've had a good life. As long as I am good with God, why would I want to stay here in a bad situation ?

Heres a conundrum facing me; I can not idly stand by watching a free man or woman (or child) be abused or killed... but if I were the one taking the violence, should I defend myself?
Would it be better to die, or resist? Haven't come close to answering that yet.

My reply was mainly to Safari but I agree with you. Can't say that God has spoken to my hearing sense either.
I'm where you are when it come to defense. I'm way more prone to defend someone else than myself.
