I have 15 and 2 roosters. When the sub-zero weather hit they quit laying though... especially the roosters...lol

I keep it down to three or four producers. The wife and I don't eat or use many eggs and she can't stand to kill them so that job is up to me and I'm not a fan of it either.

Best way I've found to dispatch them is to put them under a 5 gal. bucket with the head stuck out. That way when the head is removed all the flopping and blood splattering is contained.
