Negative things come our way and have to be dealt with. It doesn't seem to me that the answer is to ignore them but rather to see them in context of the bigger picture. Your thoughts?
"Father, here it is. I am giving this to You." When I cannot deal with it personally, and it keeps intruding into my life, I put it on a shelf of Light for God to handle. Wait three days and see what changes.

Avoiding and ignoring aren't the same in my gray matter. lol But I know what you mean. The idea suggested here is to keep them out of your life as much as possible and definitely not go out hunting for things that will have a negative impact. Once in, we have to deal with them! And sometimes things happen through no fault of our own that we might put in the negative category and that is something that is up to us. For example, a parent of an unborn child they know will have issues - is that negative, positive or neutral? One's own mind determines that and how it is reacted to. From the biblical perspective a belief in all things work together for the good ... etc.. one might never even consider something negative that another finds devastating. ---
A is from to achieve your dreams remember your abcs... so the item has to be taken into context of the subject matter and with the rest of the lines of it. In that context, from my experience, I think as long as we allow negativity to remain unchecked or we invite it, we will never be freed up enough to achieve our dreams because all of our time will be spent dealing with it. I should know as I seemed to have been a negative person magnet for a good part of my life. lol NO MORE!
