I reached that conclusion one day. As a kid and upward, I thought the USA was the guy on the white horse. I thought we were ALWAYS right, I believed history books and I trusted that those in charge were working for MY best interest.
But then I grew up. And that was long after I reached the age of majority. Now I don't trust anyone because I know that the subjectivity of even my closest friends is based on their assumptions, not necessarily fact.
Good assessment. I listen to friends with wildly varying opinions - even those who often agree on most things, and I take it in, consider it and also in wonder, I can't imagine how people can come to such opposite views on what reality is.
