I didn't have this treatment but I considered it and refused. In retrospect, I wish I had.
And in regard to teens....they shouldn't have to suffer while waiting to become 'old enough'.

But - then they also put him on mega drugs - which they do with all of the shock patients, so who is to say, was it the treatment, the drugs or the psychiatric therapy that helped any of these people. It isn't a stand alone process. I see a danger in mandatory psych evaluations in schools, where at some point, admiring the constitution may be all it takes to make one CRAZY.
