yep! As soon as I posted it - I had the same thought upon looking at it again. But don't you think registration has been very instrumental in helping to solve a lot of murder cases?
I dunno it was a question. I tried to find out stats on that a long time ago and couldn't. I read a lot of opinion pieces but never saw the first stat about how many crime cases had been solved via the purpose of registration. The only reason I can legitimately think of for registering weapons are so who ever may want to take them will know where they are at. I believe history has born that out as well.
That was my original thoughts about it as well - I'm too tired to look this up at the moment, but I'm trying to think, when did this gun registration stuff start? What crisis was it that the left didn't let go to waste?
Regardless, the second amendment is clear. Not be infringed means just that.
