WeRx A site that simply lets you type in the drug you need along with your city, state or zip code to find locations nearby and the prices they charge for the medication you entered. It lists by least expensive first and when prices are the same the closest location among all pharmacies with the same price appears at the top. The prices listed are with coupon and there is an interface to print the coupon out or to have it sent to an email address.
GoodRx Similar to WeRx but some prices are listed as estimated. It also tells you for what quantity of medication the price relates to. It has two features for saving, one is a coupon and one is a discount. Coupons are directly related to the pharmacy it lists and discounts are a general savings card. You can print, email or text the discounts or coupons. There is also an application for smart phones.
I found varying information at these sites so I suggest you experiment with them both and if you find a saving for something you use regularly at both locations to print up coupons from both sites and take them to your pharmacy to see how much they help and to verify that they take the coupons. In some cases the rates may be lower than what an insurance co-pay would be. The greatest savings may be for self payers.
