Yep--one of the neighborhood cats wanted pets badly. When I stopped to feed her, she nipped me (you know, love bites). Unfortunately, it went septic and I had surgery on my thumb to clean it out. After all these years of cat bites and cat scratches, and it wasn't even my cat! lol!

Wow. Can I suggest the liberal use of diesel fuel next time? Gotten chopped and sliced on many a jobsite and never had a problem like that.
Have heard of cat scratch fever before, but not this.
