A phenominal collection of pictures of the monster swell on the North Shore of Oahu from Hawaii New Now

 

A monster swell considered to be one of the largest in decades hit Hawaii shores on Jan. 23, 2014. Waves of 50-feet slammed beaches across the state. Authorities were forced to close beaches, including the iconic Waimea Bay.
